Bella Venezia Restaurant & Bar – Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast QLD

Position: Full Time | Pay: $75,000 – $85,000 + Super

Bella Venezia Restaurant & Bar, a long-standing favourite on the Sunshine Coast for over four decades, is expanding its kitchen brigade ahead of the vibrant Spring–Summer season. The restaurant is a 1 Chef Hat–awarded modern Italian venue known for its high standards, elegant service, and culinary creativity.

We are now inviting skilled and passionate chefs—from Commis and Chef de Partie to Sous Chefs and Kitchen Managers—to join our award-winning team in Mooloolaba.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and take ownership of your section in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Work with an established team of culinary professionals dedicated to excellence.
  • Prepare authentic dishes using premium local ingredients and seasonal produce.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and high-performing kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified and reliable chefs who take pride in their craft.
  • Experience in Italian or fine dining cuisine is a strong advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to work across multiple sections and adapt to busy services.
  • Availability for evening shifts and weekends as required.

Bella Venezia is an accredited sponsor and welcomes applications from chefs seeking visa sponsorship. Please note that all applicants must be available for a face-to-face interview and a short paid trial shift before final selection. Remote or online offers will not be made.
